ABOUT CHARMAINE

I have been addicted to photography since I got my first camera at 15. I take my camera everywhere I go. And as you can see as you look around my site, I’ve been a lot of interesting places.

I’m from Northern California. I moved to Nashville in 1982 following a love of bluegrass music with my husband Marty. He and I joined several others as co-founders of the Station Inn. You might better know it as the “World Famous” Station Inn. You’ll find many of the photographs I love the most were taken there. Certain personalities that we met there were so memorable, I can’t help but share the stories along with my photographs, some tragic, some hilarious. 

Marty is one of the world’s best luthiers. His fame is still in his future, but he builds the best instruments made. I have many stories to tell about the folks we’ve met along the way.
