My love of Bluegrass music goes back almost thirty years.

Born on the West Coast, I moved to Nashville in 1981 with my husband Marty. We had fallen for acoustic music as young adults in the San Francisco Bay area, particularly music played mostly in the MidSouth by Bill Monroe and his many followers. Once in Middle Tennessee, we quickly found ourselves surrounded by musicians we had always admired. In addition to music, I love photography and took my camera everywhere we went.

We fell in with some great pickers, but places to play were hard to come by. So several of us got together and put our names on the line, opening what’s now known as the World Famous Station Inn. The first owners of the club were Marty Lanham and myself, Jim Bornstein,

THE GREATEST STORIES ARE THE ONES WORTH RETELLING

I have some wonderful, one-of-a-kind photographs in my collection. I’m fortunate enough to have had the greatest Bluegrass musicians in the world up-close in my lens. I’ve save negatives and transparencies all these years, and my collection leaves few out. I thought I’d like to share some of my favorite shots with the world, and tell the unforgettable story that goes with each one.

Prints of several photographs will soon be for sale at a moderate price. I hope you’ll consider returning at a future date.
